Main idea is quite simple — normalization

Even when there is a nuclear war outside — the most developed quality of human nature kicks in — we get used to things.

We keep enjoying our daily routine — let it be watching Netflix or ordering some food. Whether it is humane to endanger a delivery person in these circumstances — I let you decide.
